This site is dedicated to the memory of Alex Williams.

“Believe and achieve” was Alex’s motto and how he lived his life. He had meningitis when he was 7 and it left him coping with so many after-effects. But that did not stop him. He was always helping others and, as a Young Ambassador for the Meningitis Trust, he tirelessly worked to raise awareness and funds, and ensure people did not suffer on their own when the Trust was there to help them. Having fought for 11 years, Alex, aged just 18, sadly died on 1 August 2012 surrounded by his family and friends. But his legacy lives on. He had an impact on so many people and he will continue to inspire us all. Alex, dearly loved son, brother and friend, inspirational young man, lover of hugs, Founder Young Ambassador for the Meningitis Trust – you will always be in our hearts.
