The television program in which Alex and his family featured has just aired in Canada and I was very impressed by Alex’s determination and how he inspired others. It was a great shock when the program ended and the words “In memory of Alex Williams” appeared on the screen. Although I live thousands of miles away and have only learned about him three months after his passing, I feel moved to pay tribute to Alex and to express my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
